Yahoo! Ambassador update

November 27, 2006 |

With a new Yahoo! Sponsored Search platform upon us, I decided to update my accredation with a review of Yahoo’s Ambassador training. The Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador Program helps search engine marketers (SEMs) and agencies maintain Sponsored Search and Local Sponsored Search expertise through training with professional certification from Yahoo! Search Marketing. With this status, I can offer a $50 sign-up bonus in the form of a program credit for new Yahoo! Sponsored Search accounts that sign up here and a $20 sign-up bonus for new Local Search campaigns.

It should come as no suprise that I discovered my status update is only temporary. With the next generation of Yahoo! Search, new Ambassador materials and testing covering these enhancements will be available. At such time, all accredited Ambassadors will be required to pass this new test in order to maintain their Ambassador designation beyond December 2006. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you informed. If you are interested in the Ambassador program you can learn more at Yahoo!
